Description:
This role is designed to be the owner of the Business Development and Partnership role for both existing and new businesses at Komet Technology Inc.
The ideal candidate would have BD, partnership, and operations experience in web3 - NFTs, protocols, and chains. They would be able to leverage their industry connections to grow business for Komet.
The activities include but are not limited to identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, reaching out, forging partnerships, and integrating/onboarding DApps/protocol or ecosystem projects.
You will work closely with founders to grow adoption and deploy resources in the leading verticals to solve product challenges such as user acquisition, define targeting strategies, and design annual operating plans.
Expectations:
Komet is committed to providing you with the required tools to succeed in your role. This is a Senior role and will work directly w the co-founder & CEO.
What you need to succeed:
Understand industry best practices and trends within the Web3 industry.
Preferable: Pre-existing knowledge about NFTs, Web3 ecosystem, and concepts
Have industry knowledge of Web3 - brands, IPs, decentralized protocols, and DApps. Lead discussions of moving to a web3 revenue generation business model of SAAS and Marketplaces.
Build industry connections to be able to know and win new projects that are looking to build on scaling blockchains and win them over to Komet through industry knowledge of various chains and protocols integration with Komet.
Account and project management to coordinate project onboarding & engagement at Komet.
Leverage your industry connections to engage and advise on web3 industry trends and knowledge to move to web3.
Build a pipeline of projects from both inbound and outbound lead generation.
20% Travel - attending industry events and forging new partnerships
