Please Note: This is an in-office position that will require working at our Draper, UT headquarters.

Essential Job Duties

BambooHR’s Sr. Help Desk Technician are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Helpdesk. You will help our employees do their best work by troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our office IT needs.

You will:

  • Oversee Daily Helpdesk Operations
    • Manage and support the daily activities of the Helpdesk team.
    • Train and mentor junior team members.
    • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues for end users.
  • Technical Support:
    • Help end users resolve technical workstation issues (both Windows and MacOS).
    • Troubleshoot software and access issues using tools such as Okta, Google Workspaces, Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Jira, etc.
    • Troubleshoot basic network issues.
  • Equipment and Inventory Management
    • Provision of new IT equipment (laptops, monitors, TVs, Zoom Rooms, etc.).
    • Maintain inventory of office equipment like keyboards, mice, monitors, and laptops.
  • Efficiency and Documentation
    • Assist in identifying ways to automate job responsibilities wherever possible for continued efficiency.
    • Contribute to the ongoing documentation and improvement of our systems and processes.
  • Collaboration and Improvement
    • Work closely with a team that is always helping each other improve.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 3+ years of experience in a Helpdesk or Tech Support role.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical information.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS.
  • A service-minded attitude and a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 libs.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

  • You have an Associate's Degree in a related field
  • You have previous experience in automation tools
  • You have basic network experience (VLANs, Routing, Switching)
  • You have experience with Okta, Jamf Pro, Microsoft InTune, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Jira (or similar tools)
  • You are self-motivated and an ambitious learner
