Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

Essential Job Duties

As a Payroll Software Implementation Specialist at BambooHR, you will partner with our clients who are Payroll, HR and business leaders from around the country. You will help our clients onboard our Payroll software to their organization through successful training and teach them how to utilize it to best meet their needs. Because of this, we refer to our Implementation Specialist as Payroll Project Managers. In this role, you will become our clients’ hero as you assist in onboarding complex (low and high employee count, multiple state, complex state) payroll clients, with a high level of accuracy, into our software.You will illustrate how BambooHR will set our clients free to do great work. As a member of our Payroll Implementation and Implementation teams, you will build close relationships with both clients and colleagues as you become an expert in your work and excel in your job tasks, which include:

• Communicating effectively with Payroll, HR, and business leaders around the country, through exceptional client relationships
• Importing client data into their new accounts to set them up for success
• Providing insight and clarification to clients’ questions to help them utilize and love our software
• Continual learning about payroll and HR processes, functions and software to provide the best customer service to our clients
• Doing your best, focused work during a set schedule, Monday through Friday

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• Existing knowledge/experience with onboarding payroll clients; including knowledge on multiple states tax set up.
• Previous knowledge and experience with running payroll for an organization.
• Ability to use and teach clients the software.
• Passion for puzzles/problem solving and detail work with data/reconciliation of data.
• Excellent project management and time management skills
• Communication skills needed for effective coaching, mentoring, delivering feedback in the Bamboo way.
• Experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
• The ability to let high-stress situations roll off your back
